Our Trust
Mersey View Learning Trust is a collaborative community of six schools committed to inclusion, excellence and opportunities for all. We were formed in September 2024 and currently educate over 3,500 pupils across Sefton. Our family of successful schools includes one large secondary school, three primary schools, one infant school, and a special school with a satellite site – all located in Sefton. With over 500 staff across all schools, we use our strong relationships and depth of experience to support each other in achieving outstanding outcomes for pupils.
Children are at the heart of every decision that we make. Our vision is simple: we want each and every child in our trust to benefit from a highly inclusive, first-class education. Our core purpose is to inspire and empower everyone within our trust to succeed and thrive.
Although we are six schools, we are one organisation. We work as one team, dedicated to achieving the best for all of our children.
Inclusion is at the core of everything we do. All pupils will achieve their best our high expectations drive success across our trust.
We believe in an enriching environment, striving to give pupils the opportunity to achieve their best in all aspects of their lives.
All of our schools have unique school identities, we are proud that each of our schools maintains its own unique identity, serving its local community while benefiting from trust-wide collaboration and support.
We recognise that our people are key to delivering excellent education, we are committed to investment in our people. Through our People Pledge, we commit to valuing, supporting and developing all our staff so they can achieve their full potential.
Our central team works collaboratively with our schools to support them in achieving their goals.
